PASS HGV Class 2 Driver

Overview

NEW PASS CLASS 2 DRIVERS WANTED £37K TO £42K PA PLUS FULL TRAINING. The Best Connection are currently looking for HGV Class C drivers to work for our client based in Winchester. New Pass Drivers welcome. The job has NO multi-drop and NO heavy lifting. Monday to Friday with overtime available 7 days a week. No experience is necessary and full training is provided.

• Drive an 18 ton water tanker and clear Gullies of blockages to ensure rain water drains freely on all roads.
• Work in a tight geographical area, completing designated zones and moving between gully locations that are often in close proximity.
• Adhere to all health and safety systems and processes and follow safe systems of work.
• Learn and apply vehicle and equipment handling procedures with daily guidance from an experienced operative.

• Basic salary £37k with a realistic total annual take home of £40k+. £37k basic plus overtime expectations.
• The normal working week is Monday to Friday with overtime paid after 50 hours; overtime may also be available on weekends and Saturdays and Sundays.
• Standard hours of work are 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Overtime rates: £14.21 per hour for the first 50 hours; £17.76 per hour after 50 hours; £21.31 per hour on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
• Continuous overtime 7 days a week; 32 days annual leave; attendance rewards; paid standby (not compulsory) paid at overtime rates; monthly and annual bonus schemes.
• Immediate start is available; subject to successful completion of a 16-week probation you will be offered a permanent position.
