We are seeking a Junior Full‑Stack Developer to join IBM’s cloud development teams, contributing to projects that support UK public‑sector and defence clients. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers and technical leads to develop, enhance, and maintain cloud‑based applications that are used in secure, mission‑critical environments. As part of IBM’s multidisciplinary delivery teams, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from designing and coding to developer testing and deployment.

You will gain hands‑on experience with modern full‑stack technologies and cloud‑native development approaches, while learning how to deliver solutions that meet the high standards of security, reliability, and performance required in government and defence programmes.

• Code Development:
  Write, test, and debug high‑quality code for cloud‑based applications, using appropriate programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with cross‑functional IBM teams—such as architects, testers, Dev Ops engineers, and security specialists—to support planning, code reviews, problem‑solving, and technical delivery.
• Learning and Growth:
  Build your expertise in cloud platforms, full‑stack development, and secure engineering practices through structured learning, mentoring, and on‑the‑job experience.
• Process Adoption:
  Learn and follow IBM’s engineering processes, including agile delivery methods, secure coding practices, and quality assurance standards, and contribute to their continual improvement.
