Just Shutters is expanding, and we are launching a new employed role that mirrors the responsibilities of a franchisee, with the unique opportunity to transition into owning the Winchester/Basingstoke & Thames Valley franchise after 12–18 months.

We’re looking for a confident, customer-focused individual with strong sales ability and solid practical skills to deliver the full Just Shutters service from enquiry to installation.

As a Franchise Development Representative, you will manage all aspects of the customer journey, including:

• Visiting customers in their homes to present the Just Shutters brand and product range
• Building rapport, identifying customer needs, and confidently closing sales
• Preparing quotations and actively following up to convert opportunities
• Representing the company with professionalism and trustworthiness

• Taking accurate window measurements
• Installing shutters safely and to a high standard (full training provided)
• Using hand tools confidently and working safely on ladders in customer homes

• Entering orders into the company system
• Managing your appointment schedule and sales pipeline
• Carrying out light local marketing activity (with central PPC & social media support)
• Operating a branded Just Shutters van (provided)

• Strong experience in customer-facing roles
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and close sales
• Comfortable with follow-up activity and pipeline management

• Good DIY capability and confidence using hand tools
• Ability to install products safely (full training given)
• Comfortable working at height on ladders

• Full UK driving licence
• Self‑motivated, organised, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in customers’ homes and providing excellent service

• Commission approx. £5,000, based on % of sales margin
• Branded Just Shutters van provided
• Tools and equipment provided
• Full product and installation training
• Support from central marketing, including PPC and social media campaigns

After 12–18 months, successful candidates will have the option to purchase the Winchester/Basingstoke franchise, with structured pathways such as:

• Full upfront payment
• Staged payment plan
