Cleaning Operative at Worthy Down Camp, Winchester, SO21 2RG

We are looking for a reliable Cleaning Operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the site. This role includes office spaces, bathrooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, and accommodation areas, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment.

• Maintain all areas to required cleanliness standards within set time frames
• Follow cleaning schedules and use chemicals and equipment safely
• Make beds and clean bedrooms in accommodation areas
• Attend training, team briefs, and performance reviews as required
• Maintain personal hygiene, uniform, and PPE standards
• Care for cleaning materials, equipment, and supplies
• Report accidents, near misses, or faulty equipment immediately
• Maintain strong communication with managers, team, and clients
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by management

• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Able to perform manual handling duties

• Experience working within a military environment

• On-the-job training with experienced professionals
