Location: Hursley (on-site)

Working Pattern: 12‑hour shifts (7am‑7pm/7pm‑7am), 4 days on/4 days off

Contract Length: Long‑term contract through to 31 March 2030

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Clearance: SC and NPPV3 (or eligible)

Residency Requirement: 5 years unbroken UK residency

We are supporting a consultancy delivering services within a large, secure technical environment and are looking for Duty Technicians to join an on‑site operations team.

This role plays a key part in maintaining day‑to‑day service operations, providing technical support, resolving incidents, and ensuring high standards of service delivery within a secure setting.

• Handle incoming technical support incidents, service requests and changes
• Manage personal call queues and ensure tickets are resolved within agreed timescales
• Provide clear and regular updates to users and stakeholders
• Resolve issues ranging from password resets to more complex server‑related queries
• Escalate incidents to 3rd line teams when required
• Perform software builds and rebuilds on PCs and laptops
• Diagnose and fix hardware faults, including installing upgrades
