Where will you be working?

At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK.

You’ll be joining our  Highways maintenance  team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

This role requirement for a Scheme Agent will be working predominantly in Surface treatment team within Hampshire.

What will you be doing?

You'll ensure the effective management of all time, cost, and quality aspects of specific projects, managing all of the day-to-day activities on a range of infrastructure related projects.

You'll make sure the highest possible Health and safety standards are employed across all projects, adhering to Milestone health and safety policy, and actively supporting the ISWM culture that is an integral part of the Milestone working environment.

We'll ask you to manage client expectations and ensure excellent communication skills with all project stakeholders.

Manage and supervise surface treatment schemes on-site to ensure that work is carried out safely, on time, to budget and in accordance with the HSEQ standards required by M Group.

You'll organise labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources.

Liaise with other stakeholders as required to deliver schemes (network managers, LA’s, community groups, Designers etc)

You'll review   Construction Phase Plans, Risk and Method statements and safe systems of work are in-place before work is started and that required safety standards are always maintained.

As the Scheme Agent you'll report to our Surface Treatment Manager and will be responsible for the planning and supervision of all in-house and subcontract resource.
