About the Nursery Manager Role

As a Nursery Manager, you will:

Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the nursery team
Ensure safeguarding policies are implemented and understood by all staff
Oversee curriculum planning and delivery within the EYFS framework
Manage staff development, administration, and compliance with Ofsted standards
Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and nominated person for Ofsted
Build strong relationships with families and external agencies
Promote the nursery through marketing, newsletters, and social media

What We're Looking For in a Nursery Manager

Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5/6 desirable)
At least 2 years' leadership experience in an Early Years setting
Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements
Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
