Teacher of Chemistry – Harris Hill Independent Schools

Leading independent school on the Hampshire borders requires a Chemistry teacher from April 2026. The role includes teaching Chemistry to A Level students and will involve assistance with accommodation. Experience teaching A Level Chemistry, or strong ECTs or postgraduates, is welcomed.

• Teach A Level Chemistry to core and extension students.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments and study resources.
• Assist with accommodation logistics where needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school improvement.
• Participate in pastoral care activities and school assemblies.

• Post‑graduate qualification in Chemistry or related subject.
• Experience teaching A Level Chemistry (essential) or a strong candidate among early career teachers (ECT).
• Background in the independent sector is a bonus but not essential.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
