A well-established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is currently looking for an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their Winchester team. This is an excellent opportunity for a client-facing professional to take the lead on a broad range of projects across sectors including education, defence, commercial, healthcare, and science & technology.

The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of key client relationships, lead the delivery of high-profile projects, and support the development of junior surveyors. This role is ideal for a commercially minded Associate Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a fast-paced consultancy environment and is looking to step into a strategic position within a respected business.
As an Associate Quantity Surveyor
, you'll also play a role in developing new business opportunities and strengthening the consultancy's presence in the region. This is a long-term opportunity for an ambitious Associate Quantity Surveyor with the leadership skills to contribute to both project and business success.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of cost consultancy services across multiple sectors
- Manage pre- and post-contract duties, including cost planning, procurement, and contract administration
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and project stakeholders
- Oversee junior surveyors and support APC progression
- Prepare and present financial reports, risk reviews, and final accounts
- Contribute to business development and regional growth strategies
- MRICS qualified with strong consultancy experience
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage teams and complex projects
- Excellent communication and client relationship management
- Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
- Experience across a range of sectors, including public and private
- A proactive, organised, and commercially focused approach
- Competitive salary between £60,000 - £70,000
- Defined progression route to Partner level
