About the Role

Highpoint Health with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a motivated Certified Medical Assistant to join our Family Wellness Clinic in Decherd, TN. This full-time, weekday position supports our outpatient primary care team by providing direct patient care, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring efficient, compassionate service.

What You'll Do

* Provide clinical support to providers in an outpatient primary care setting

* Assist with patient intake, vitals, documentation, and coordination of care for approximately 25 patients per day

* Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with clinic standards

* Support a collaborative team focused on high-quality, patient-centered care

Training & Support

* Orientation:
One week of general onboarding followed by one month of clinic-specific training with preceptor support

Qualifications

* Required:

* Current BLS certification

* Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential

* Preferred:
Prior outpatient or family medicine experience (not required)
