Excellent opportunity to lead a thriving Outpatient Pain Management program as an employed physician with Medical Group Services of Highpoint Health Winchester with Ascension St Thomas.

Highpoint Health Winchester with Ascension St Thomas is a Joint Commission accredited hospital serving south-central Tennessee with two locations (Winchester and Sewanee). Winchester offers small-town living with access to major cities and a range of outdoor recreational activities. This position is based in Winchester, TN.

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic pain.
• Manage chronic pain with medication, and perform traditional spinal injections, nerve blocks and radio frequency ablation (RFA).
• Perform minimally invasive procedures (examples include spinal cord stimulation, basivertebral nerve ablation, peripheral nerve stimulation, kyphoplasty, SI joint fusion, Vertiflex) as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
• Oversee multiple established, productive advanced practice providers (APPs) in a spine and pain center.
• All surgical and fluoroscopic guided procedures are performed in the procedure suite or hospital operating room.
• Operate within a Multi-Disciplinary Pain Management Approach, including physical therapy, neurosurgical and orthopedic referrals, and consideration of opioid and non-opioid options.

• BE/BC in Pain Management (or eligible).
• Residency training in Anesthesia, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), or Neurology.
• Fellowship training preferred but will consider experienced physicians.

• Office hours:
  Monday–Thursday 7:30 am–5:00 pm;
  Friday 8:00 am–12:00 pm. Time off policy and on-call expectations as applicable.
• Practice is outpatient and referral-based with no nights, weekends, or walk-ins.
