Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns.

Assess newborns for normal growth and development, feeding issues, jaundice, and other health concerns.

Educate mothers and families on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, postpartum recovery, and infant safety.

Participate in discharge planning and provide post-discharge follow-up care as needed.

Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to postpartum care.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).

Current RN license in [insert state or country].

BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Experience in obstetric nursing or postpartum care preferred.
