Clark Regional Medical Center

• Supervises daily staff activities for an assigned area or function
• Reports to Director of Emergency

• Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels, assists with scheduling
• Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
• Assess and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols
• Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels
• Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

• Bachelor's Degree, required
• Master's Degree, preferred

• Valid current Kentucky RN state licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
