Description

• Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
• Some travel required to local and surrounding communities for health screenings/education

• Under the supervision of medical provider, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas
• Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, phone triage and patient registration
• Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates
• Onsite health screenings/education; comfortable speaking in front of others
• Some travel required to local and surrounding communities with Wellness Works Manager

• Requires critical thinking skills, detail oriented with decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must be flexible with work location assignments

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Associate's Degree, preferred

• Current certification in Medical Assisting from accredited program
• Current certification in phlebotomy and EKG, if CCMA
