Severe Special Needs Teacher
Winchendon Public Schools
Qualifications:
* DESE certification in severe special needs, SEI Endorsement Required
* Two (2) years of relevant experience
* Knowledge of Special Education laws/regulations
* Familiarity with diverse disabilities
* Ability and experience in conducting formal evaluations, developing IEPs and transition plans
* Strong data collection skills
* Experience with supervision of staff and coordinate services
* Supervise and coordinate inclusion opportunities
* Comfort with student behavior
* Ability to write student programming
* Ability to provide functional academic instruction, social skills, life skills and vocational training
* Complete and submit MCAS-ALT assessments
* Effective communication with students, families and colleagues
* Believe in a structured school environment that promotes a positive school culture
Salary: $54,371 - $97,866
