* MOT Tester
* for our busy
* Nissan dealership in Wincanton.

* Day to day, you will:
* * Carry out MOT testing, confidently communicating areas of concern,

* Communicate directly with customers to identify / understand concerns with vehicle running performance and to advise about technical issues,

* Road test vehicles on completion of repair / service work, also accompanying customers for demonstration of vehicle concerns or faults,

* Receive ongoing manufacturer training, both in-house and external training centres,

* Comply with company and manufacturer disciplines and procedures,

* Support others around the business by performing to the best of your ability,

* The ideal candidate:
* * Is positive, punctual, hardworking, flexible and driven

* Has main dealer experience

* Possesses technical knowledge of a range of vehicle makes and models

* Is literate and numerate, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues alike

* Can follow instructions and work alone without supervision

* Demonstrates a strong customer focus and takes pride in delivering a high-quality experience that is second-to-none.

* Is well-presented and able to engage and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

* Will be honest with high levels of integrity.

* Can work quickly, while maintaining quality assurance in order to maximise workshop capacity

* Thrives and remains calm under pressure, whilst meeting deadlines

* Key requirements:

* * Qualified & experienced MOT Tester (_essential_),

* Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points,

* A desire to provide exceptional customer experiences,

* Computer literate and can easily learn new systems.

Salary: competitive basic, DOE, plus monthly bonus opportunities

Working pattern:

* Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5pm

* Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am – 12:30pm
