About The Course Are you aged 16-18 and looking to start a career in childcare? Aspire Training Team are offering a FREE Level 1 Childcare course across Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire. This study programme provides an introduction to childcare with quality work experience, tutor-led workshops/1:1 sessions, and some online learning. A typical week includes one study day and three days of work experience.

We can tailor the programme to individual needs and we also offer Maths and English Functional Skills if required. A free DBS is provided, and work experience is arranged locally to where you live. Bursary payments may be available and there are no entry requirements for this course. Uniform and any necessary resources are provided.

About The Nursery Tops Wimborne Nursery is an 80-place Day Nursery & Pre-School in Leigh Road, Wimborne. The nursery runs several extracurricular activities including Tops Forest School, cooking school, Boogie Mites, yoga, meditation and more. Tops Day Nurseries are committed to environmental sustainability and social responsibility, with a focus on educating today’s children to influence future generations. This course has strong progression rates onto Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeships.
