Prospero Teaching are working with an SEN School based in the Wimborne area that are recruiting Teaching Assistants to help care and provide academic support.

The School, graded as Good by Ofsted, offer Education to pupils aged 4-19 with SEN Needs including:
Autism & Complex Needs.

Your role will include providing support for pupils, teachers, curriculum and the school, to carry out school policy as documented and/or as directed by the Headteacher and to be aware of the sensitive nature of information learning during the course of duties and to maintain confidentiality at all times.

• Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temp to Perm
• Full time/part time – Bank/Part-Time/Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – From £14.00 per hour
• Hours – 8:30 – 15.30

• GCSEs or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year working with children
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references

• Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
• In-house Training and Development Team
