Teaching Assistant

Role Overview

We are recruiting a caring and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support children and young people aged 3-18 with a range of Special Educational Needs
. This is a full-time role with an immediate start
, working 8.45am to 3.30pm
, Monday to Friday. You will be working in a highly regarded specialist education setting set within spacious, peaceful grounds. The school is known for:

Pupils present with a variety of Special Educational Needs
, including:
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), severe and complex learning difficulties, communication and sensory processing needs and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support tailored to individual pupils
• Assist with learning, personal care and emotional regulation
• Encourage engagement, confidence and independence
• Work closely with teachers and specialist staff

• Minimum 6 months childcare experience
  , especially supporting children with SEN needs
• Experience supporting complex or additional needs is highly desirable
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the school's location
