Head of Online Trading to join our leadership team and report directly to the Managing Director. This high-impact role is dedicated to accelerating our online product offering
, with a primary focus on scaling our profitable dropship and extended range categories.

If you are an expert in online trading, vendor management, and leveraging digital data to build a vast, relevant, and profitable assortment across Home, DIY, Garden, and Electricals, we want to hear from you.

As Head of Online Trading, you will be the driving force behind our e-commerce assortment and financial performance.

• E-commerce Strategy & Assortment Curation: Define and execute a dynamic online buying strategy, using digital analytics (search volume, competitor pricing, digital trends) to identify gaps, onboard essential online-only lines, and capture market share in high-demand categories.
• Rapid Dropship & Vendor Management: Rapidly scale the extended product range. You will lead all aspects of the Dropship Vendor Programme
  , including sourcing, negotiating commercial terms (margin, cost price, SLAs), and ensuring seamless operational integration with our E-commerce and Operations teams.
• Commercial & Financial Performance:
  Own the financial success of all online categories. You will be accountable for online sales, gross margin percentage, dropship commission rates, and stock turn, developing competitive pricing strategies that protect profitability.
• Performance Insight: Manage the full online product lifecycle, translating digital data from BI Reporting and Google Analytics into tactical buying actions and working with the Digital Marketing team to improve profitability.
