Riverside Recruitment is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join a respected, long‑established manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a team that prioritises ongoing training, development, and genuine career growth.

Overview

We are recruiting a reliable Warehouse Operative to support our client’s fast‑paced operation. You will help keep the warehouse running smoothly through materials handling, inventory control, and order fulfilment. Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic are essential.

The Job:

* Loading and unloading goods from lorries (manual handling) and completing all associated paperwork

* Accurately labelling multiple items in a timely manner

* Working efficiently while meeting strict time deadlines

* Monitoring product quality and reporting any issues

* Picking, packing, shrink‑wrapping, and preparing orders for dispatch

* Disposing of waste and supporting recycling processes

* Conducting equipment checks, basic maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness across the warehouse and factory

* Identifying potential safety hazards and reporting them promptly

About you:

* Comfortable lifting heavy items as part of daily duties

* Able to work independently as well as collaboratively

* Strong attention to detail with good written and verbal communication skills

* Fast, accurate, and able to work to targets with a willingness to learn new skills

* Good understanding of Health & Safety and site safety procedures

Hours:

Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern – candidates must be able to work all three:

* 6am to 2pm (6am to 11.30am on Friday)

* 2pm to 10pm (11.30am to 5pm on Friday)

* 10pm to 6am (5pm to 10.30pm on Friday)

All breaks are paid for.
