Specialist Social Worker |Emerald Child Exploitation Team

Specialist Social Worker needed for our Child Exploitation Team in Wiltshire, paying up to £36ph!

• Role: Specialist Social Worker
• Location: Wiltshire
• Rate: £36 per hour
• Contract: Full-time, Ongoing

The Emerald Team works in close partnership with the Youth Justice Service and the Stronger Families Team (edge of care), providing access to a wide range of integrated resources including:

• Early help and prevention services
• Youth work and mentoring Health and wellbeing services
• Specialist exploitation interventions

The team also leads a devolved panel for the National Referral Mechanism (NRM), supporting children identified as potential victims of exploitation and trafficking.

We are seeking an experienced practitioner who:

• Has substantial frontline childcare experience across CIN, CP and PLO processes.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of exploitation, contextual safeguarding, and extra-familial harm.
• Is confident managing complex risk and multi‑agency planning.
• Has experience undertaking Section 47 investigations.
• Brings resilience, professional curiosity, and sound judgement.
• Is registered with Social Work England and eligible to work in the UK.
