Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 (DOE) plus bonus, car allowance and performance‑related bonus scheme.

• Act as the face of the business, proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities with house builders, contractors and developers.
• Develop a deep understanding of client project pipelines and material needs through regular networking and field visits.
• Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity, using this information alongside customer spend patterns to drive sales across all categories and branches within the region.
• Manage all business development activities, maintaining and leveraging a network of industry contacts.
• Prepare detailed proposals, participate in pricing negotiations, and handle objections to reach positive conclusions.

• Proven experience in a sales role within the construction supply sector.
• Strong sales ability, margin awareness, and a full driving licence.
• Motivation, drive, and a ‘customer first’ attitude to secure and increase sales opportunities.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, self‑motivated, target‑driven, disciplined, and able to organise a busy schedule effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with existing contacts in the industry preferred.
