Early Years Teaching Assistant - Swindon
Location: Swindon (SN25)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Pay: £14.61-£16.15 per hour
Start Date: 02/02/2026
We're looking for a friendly, caring, and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in North Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the early stages of a child's education while working in a supportive and positive environment.
What You'll Be Doing:- Support the class teacher and pupils during lessons and activities.
- Lead small group sessions and 1:1 interventions to boost learning.
- Help with pupil assessments and provide feedback to teachers and carers.
- Communicate updates to parents and carers when needed.
- Assist with classroom displays and create an engaging learning space.
- A warm, empathetic personality with a passion for early years education.
- Ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Strong commitment to pupil safety and well-being.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
- Work in a 'Good' rated school with a supportive team.
- Make a real impact on children's learning and development.
