About the Role:

We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced General Foreman to take responsibility for daily site activities and support the Site Supervisor in delivering a safe, compliant, and efficient worksite. You will play a key role in ensuring all operations meet health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, while maintaining programme schedules and site documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Site Supervisor in the management and oversight of site operations.
Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
Coordinate daily work activities, plant, and labour in line with project requirements.
Monitor works to ensure adherence to programme timelines and quality expectations.
Manage and document material deliveries and usage in line with our client and National Grid policies.
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Lead by example and promote a strong health and safety culture across the site.
Liaise effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider site team.

Required Qualifications &

Experience:

SSSTS Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (minimum requirement).
Authorised as a National Grid Competent Person (CP).
Valid CSCS or CPCS card.
Completion of 2-day HSG
47 (Avoiding Danger from Underground Services) training.
Valid 3-day First Aid qualification.
Previous experience in a similar General Foreman/Site Foreman role.
Experience on National Grid or major infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
