HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
We’re seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join a leading commercial facility in Wilton, CT. If you have strong troubleshooting skills and a background in commercial or industrial HVAC systems, this is a great opportunity to join a stable team with overtime eligibility and long-term growth potential.
Shift: Night Shift – Monday to Friday – 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
What You’ll Do:- Perform preventative maintenance on package and split HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Service boilers, compressors, motors, belts, and control systems
- Handle refrigerants safely in compliance with EPA standards
- Troubleshoot and maintain VFDs and AC motor controls
- Complete work orders and service reports using mobile devices
- Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and building codes
- Provide strong customer service and maintain clear communication
- High School Diploma or trade certification (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.)
- 5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience
- EPA Universal Certification (required)
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
