Position: Nurse Practitioner (Vascular Surgery)

Oregon Vascular Specialists (OVS), founded in Central Oregon in 2017, delivers timely, state-of-the-art, and cost-effective vascular care throughout Oregon. Following recent expansion of OVS to the Portland metro area in September 2024, we continue to expand our services across the Portland metro area as well as Salem. The practice integrates vascular ultrasound, office-based procedures, hospital care, and long-term disease management to provide comprehensive vascular services.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner located primarily at our existing flagship Wilsonville office, with additional flexibility to see patients at our Portland and/or Salem office locations. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing high-quality vascular care, including patient consultations, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. Daily tasks include patient assessment, management of chronic vascular conditions, collaboration with vascular surgeons, and patient education on lifestyle modifications and preventive measures.

The candidate will join a team of vascular providers, including four vascular surgeons and one experienced NP. Experience and interest in outpatient vein procedures and advanced wound care is highly recommended.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license with Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to interpret vascular imaging
  • Experience in patient management, developing treatment plans, and providing follow-up care
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
  • Knowledge of vascular surgery and treatments is a plus
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
