As a Flat Rate Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an automotive technician at a new car dealership and strong attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities
**** Accurately diagnose and perform repairs on a variety of Nissan and pre-owned vehicles following manufacturer standards.
* Complete routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake work, and inspections.
* Identify additional service needs through thorough multi-point inspections.
* Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair needs, progress, and completion timelines.
* Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail on every repair.
* Stay current on factory training, technical bulletins, and industry best practices.
* Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and compliance with dealership standards.
* Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, high-performing shop culture.

*** Flat Rate Technician Qualifications
**** Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably at a new car dealership.
* ASE certifications or equivalent technical training preferred.
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
* Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical bulletins.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining dealership standards.
* Corporate requirements:
Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
