Wilson Warbirds Bat Attendant

The Wilson Warbirds Bat Attendant is an integral part of the team’s gameday operations, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for players, coaches, and fans. This position supports on‑field activities by managing equipment, assisting players and staff, and contributing to the overall efficiency and excitement of the game environment.

• Drag bats, bring umpires baseballs, work bullpen, shag foul balls, etc.
• Responsible for filling coolers, restocking gum, seeds, towels, etc.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of all batting practice equipment, including BP nets, L‑screens, protective cages, and ball buckets.
• Retrieve and return all gameday items and equipment to and from the clubhouse.
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward players, coaches, umpires, and fans.
• Maintain awareness of game situations to ensure quick and safe retrieval of items from the field.
• Assist with field tarp duties as necessary.

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Prior Bat Attendant experience preferred.
• Must have prior baseball knowledge or experience.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hours vary according to the game and event schedule, which will include weekends and some holidays. Must have availability to work most games and special events.
