Job Description:
Diesel Mechanic opportunity at R+L Carriers Wilson, NC Service Center. Responsible for day‑to‑day maintenance on Class 8 trucks, trailers and forklifts, including preventive maintenance, minor to major repairs, trailer PMs and welding as required.
Requirements:- Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Must be able to handle major repairs
- Experience with AC and Electrical
- Have the ability to lift 50lbs
- Must have own tools
- 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
- Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
- Experience using Cetaris for work orders
- Class A CDL holder
- Experience driving Class 8 commercial trucks
- Experience in trailer PMs and repairs
