Our 22‑bed Med Surge unit is split onto two floors with a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:5/6. It is staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Patient Sitters providing care for a variety of patients including those on dialysis, diabetes, heart disease, geriatric patients, and recovering surgical patients.
How You'll Contribute- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What We're Looking ForA compassionate nurse with an ability to provide expert and compassionate care to a diverse patient population with various medical conditions while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Qualifications and RequirementsApplicants should have a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited program. Additional requirements include:
- BLS and ACLS required
- New grad RNs welcomed, 1 year RN experience preferred
