About Our Team

This position coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient advocate and works as part of a team with ancillary and non-nursing departments. We are excited for a kind and eager to learn RN to join our Outpatient Wound Team. Our team consists of RNs, LPNs, PAs, MDs, Front Office and the Wound Center Manager.

We treat a variety of wound types including Chronic non-healing (Diabetic, Arterial, Venous and Pressure), Acute, Surgical and Osteomyelitis. We are equipped with 2 monoplace hyperbaric oxygen chambers which we use to treat radiation injuries and osteomyelitis among other indications. How You'll Contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN), who excels in this role:

  • Sets patient‑centered goals and initiates appropriate nursing interventions to address physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
  • Implements care plans and revises them based on patient response and clinical changes.
  • Evaluates patient care outcomes and adjusts interventions to support optimal recovery.
  • Collaborates effectively with physicians and other hospital team members to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care.
  • Administers medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with clinical standards and provider orders.
  • Communicates clearly with patients and oversees the delivery of safe, compassionate care.
  • Provides education to patients and families regarding conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self‑care.
  • Completes accurate, timely documentation of assessments, observations, interventions, medications, treatments, and all care provided.

Qualifications

What we're looking for – a compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Associates degree - Required (Bachelors preferred)
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • Completion of wound specialty course within 6 months of hire.
