Registered Nurse - ICU Specialty Location

Wilson, NC

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts available: 7AM or 7PM, with a requirement for weekend hours every other or every third weekend.

The Registered Nurse will provide critical patient care in the ICU and IMU, managing a variety of conditions including COPD, acute respiratory failure, diabetes keto acidosis, sepsis, and shock. The nurse will work in a collaborative team environment, ensuring the highest level of care and patient advocacy.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology.
• Maintain clear and accurate medical records in Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficient in EKG interpretation and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of critical drips (vasopressors, sedation) and their titration.
