Intensive Care Nurse

Registered Nurse (ICU)

Lifepoint Health invites applications for a Registered Nurse to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role will support patients with ventilated care, BiPAP, vasopressor drips, DKA on insulin drips, ETOH on CIWA, and intermediate care. The unit has a 1:2/3 nurse‑to‑patient ratio.

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

• Current state RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
• 1‑2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred
