Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Acute Care & Family Medicine

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Urgent Care! This pivotal role offers the chance to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple settings, including adult and pediatric populations. As a key provider, you will work independently, managing a diverse caseload while collaborating with dedicated support staff. Required Skills:

Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with Family Certification or Physician Assistant (PA) with NCCPA certification

Minimum of 12 months of post-licensure clinical experience in urgent or acute care

Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records, specifically Epic

Ability to independently manage a full patient load across diverse ages and conditions

Strong soft skills, including excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

BLS certification required

Ability to perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations

Must be able to see and treat adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience with minor procedures in urgent care settings

Prior experience working independently in a fast-paced environment

Bilingual skills to better serve diverse patient populations

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Board-certified in Family Medicine or equivalent for Nurse Practitioners

NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants

At least 12 months of relevant clinical experience in urgent or emergency medicine

Other Requirements:

Availability to work within a 65-mile radius of your residence

Willingness to undergo EMR training and participate in onboarding and ongoing education

No call requirements

Support staff includes center managers, MAs, PAs, and supervising physicians

Travel and lodging expenses are not reimbursed; mileage reimbursement provided for local travel

January 11, 2026
