Rehab In Motion is expanding in Wilson, NC! We are looking for experienced Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) who are enthusiastic about empowering clients with strength and independence.

- Assist the Physical Therapist in the implementation of treatment interventions
- Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients’ strength, mobility, and function
- Provide training to individuals and any others involved in their rehabilitation, and document results of the training
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Support individuals’ plan of treatment by documenting and reporting status changes to multidisciplinary team members as appropriate
- Other duties as assigned
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant training program
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification in the state of practice
- Current Live CPR Certification
- Two-step TB skin test required
- Proof of Auto Insurance
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy interventions
- Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health
- One year of experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply
- Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving, lifting, or transferring patients may involve lifting up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
- Requirements for fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods
- Additional physical requirements: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently
- Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on location policy, local and state regulations to verify employee is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations
