If located in a Truist hub city location, the work style will be:
In Office (5 days/week).
- Under administrative supervision, identify, assess, research, and resolve complex issues related but not limited to accounts, systems, vendors, processes & procedures of a particular business unit supporting the commercial lending portfolios by providing an exceptional level of quality, risk management, client service and efficiency.
- Follow procedures and conduct follow-up with assigned analyst/vendor/owner and requestors to ensure agreed service level agreements are met, and escalate potential issues to senior analysts/management.
- Lead/support project-oriented work efforts of problem identification and resolution, performance, productivity improvement and quality enhancements and delivery.
- Proactively participate and assist with cross-training within the department and maintain written procedures to processes to meet business unit changes, ensuring compliance with policies and government regulations.
- Exhibit superior knowledge of banking policies and procedures as well as a cross-functional understanding of all regulatory/compliance requirements related to the business unit for risk mitigation and monitoring.
- Act as a catalyst for change in making recommendations for streamlining functions and processes, providing input and support for business unit’s systems, processes, and policies.
- Motivate, train, counsel, and encourage lower level teammates to ensure consistency of operations.
- Demonstrate an exceptional knowledge of systems and processes while maintaining a growth mindset and risk mitigation.
- Observe, measure and delegate daily workload to ensure Service Level Agreement adherence and work with technology teams on enhancements.
- Develop positive communication and relationships with peers, partners, and external clients in resolving expedited work and supporting initiatives and other duties as assigned.
- Master the complex commercial products, processes and systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or work related experience, or equivalent education and related training
- Five years of training or work-related experiences in business, finance, lending, compliance/risk or operations
- Expert ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues and draw sound conclusions
- Proficient in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products
- Professional, courteous, and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability to changing & competing priorities based on business needs and conditions including strong time management, problem solving and organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Ability to initiate positive change, and coordinate or direct the activities of others; which may include training fellow associates
- Ability to work and participate in a mutually supporting teamwork environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience specific to commercial life of loan servicing
- Process improvement Certification
