Job DescriptionFlight Crew are responsible for providing customer service while running game booths, interacting with fans, always maintaining appearance of work area, stocking inventory, and helping to maintain orderly lines. The Flight Crew is an integral part of the Wilson Warbirds fan experience, with job duties that directly impact our guests and their enjoyment of Wilson Warbird home games.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinates all game-day sponsored promotional elements including: in-between inning contests, giveaways, concourse displays, pre-game ceremonies, first pitches and the National Anthem.
- Assist with and execute between-innings promotions, including finding fan participants, bringing participants to the field, guiding them through waiver process, etc.
- Staff all interactive areas throughout Wilson Warbirds Stadium, could include but not limited to the Speed Pitch, Prize Wheel, and Launch-A-Ball.
- Entertain and interact with fans at Warbirds games, helping to create an overall fun atmosphere at Wilson Warbirds Stadium.
- Attend and assist with external community appearances and events on both game days and non-game days to represent the Warbirds in the community.
- Additional responsibilities may be available throughout the season such as serving as the Warbirds handler, assisting with Warbirds Kids Camps, delivering pocket schedules and flyers offsite, other duties as available.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must have excellent communication and people skills.
- Valid Driver's license and MBBC satisfactory driving record are required for any driving responsibilities.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training.
Work HoursHours vary according to the game and event. Must be available to work at least a minimum of 28 Warbirds home games during the regular season.
