Part‑Time Library Assistants – Wilson County Public Library
- Assisting patrons with Internet searches
- Accessing materials using the online catalog
- Providing information regarding library programs and services
- Arranging and maintaining book displays
- Planning and presenting educational programs
- Performing other related work as needed
Four positions are open; three in the Adult Services Department and one in the Youth Services Department of the Main Library in Wilson. Assigned locations are subject to change based on the needs of the library. These jobs will include regular day, evening, and weekend hours.
QualificationsThe minimum qualifications for this position are an Associate or Technical degree, experience providing service to the public, and a valid N.C. driver’s license. Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
