Job Description:
Are you a Marketing Manager looking to make a difference? Do you want to drive change and create purpose behind a brand?
Location:
Wilmslow (Full-time, in person/office)
Salary Range: £38,000–£45,000
About the Company:
A dynamic and independent specialist delivering self-storage and flexible workspace solutions across the UK. Working with investors and property owners, our client transforms underutilised land and buildings into high-performing, modern facilities. Their expertise spans the full lifecycle, from site acquisition and development through to launch and operational management. With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, our client is helping to shape the next generation of flexible space and storage environments.
About the Role:
Our client helps people make space for what matters, and they’re looking for a Marketing Manager to turn that purpose into a brand customers recognise and choose.
With multiple stores across the UK under two brands, our client is one of the sector’s fastest-growing operators. Marketing sits at the heart of that growth.
This role is a hands-on, end-to-end role with two clear priorities:
* Build local brand awareness — offline, community, partnerships, PR and in-store.
* Drive enquiries — digital demand, PPC, website, email and social.
Based in the Cheshire office, you’ll shape strategy from idea to execution as part of a small, ambitious team.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & local awareness
* Make our sites visible, trusted and memorable in their communities.
* Run effective offline campaigns: OOH, direct mail, leaflets, events and partnerships.
* Build relationships with estate agents, removals, SMEs, charities, councils and influencers.
* Improve the in-store experience — signage, messaging and referrals.
* Keep brand standards consistent across all locations.
Digital performance
* Drive enquiries through PPC, SEO, landing pages and CRO.
* Write strong copy for ads, web, email, social and in-store.
* Create or brief visuals that bring campaigns to life.
Measurement
* Track performance with GA and other tools.
* Test, learn and optimise to improve ROI.
Skills and Expertise:
Must have
* Proven experience owning marketing campaigns and results.
* Strong copywriting and communication skills.
* Creative confidence with messaging, visuals and brand.
* Excellent organisation and project management.
Highly valued
* Local, multi-site or offline brand marketing experience.
* Partnership and community marketing.
* Ability to make a practical product feel human and appealing.
Nice to have
* B2C and B2B experience.
* Familiarity with PPC/SEO and reporting tools.
