Warehouse Operations Assistant

Overview

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations Assistant (Material Handler) located in Wilmington, OH. Join our team to load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products in and out of the warehouse. Day-to-day tasks include shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

• Provides outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
• Interacts with shipping companies, purchasing, and branch management
• Directs non-standard issues and customer inquiries to senior warehouse personnel
• Follows Linde’s safety procedures and encourages others to do the same
• Safely operate forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage and transport product efficiently and effectively
• Prepare orders by fulfilling supply requests, packing and arranging materials, and placing product in the delivery area
• Continuously find ways to improve work processes to increase efficiency in quality, customer service and profitability
• Maintains a clean work environment by keeping area free of trash and product in correct locations
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Upholds high standards of honesty and integrity
• Demonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety culture
• Contributes to a positive work environment where differences are valued and supported

Hourly Rate - $16 - $18 per hour (commensurate with industry experience)
