World Equestrian Center – Wilmington hosts premier equestrian events and is nationally recognized as a first-class equestrian facility. WEC offers a family-friendly environment with core values:
Quality. Class. Distinction. The facility features more than 200,000 square feet of climate-controlled riding space, an expansive outdoor complex, more than 800 permanent stalls, ample retail space, on-site dining, and luxurious lodging options.
- Oversees front office, housekeeping, revenue management, food and beverage, retail, sales and marketing to ensure outstanding customer service. Maintains established policies related to customer service techniques, proper identification and payments, and up-selling.
- Leads the Revenue Management Team, reviews unit availability, pricing strategies, and develops opportunities to enhance revenues.
- Assists in budgeting and ensures weekly forecast is completed in a timely manner.
- Ensures sanitation and cleanliness throughout the property, including guest rooms, public areas, food and beverage areas, offices, and grounds. Maintains relationships with Health Department and conducts daily inspections to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Inspects a minimum of 10 units weekly and prepares inspection reports for the Asset Manager.
- Responds to guest concerns and requests in a timely manner; maintains guest interaction logs for quality control and follow-through.
- Maintains positive team member relations, conducts annual reviews, coaching, training, and development. Oversees staff scheduling within budget and productivity standards; conducts monthly department meetings.
- Collaborates with departments to ensure a seamless guest and team member experience.
- Leads the management team in driving the property’s strategic plan and developing operational and sales policies and procedures.
- Conducts/hosts meetings to maintain effective communication and promote CHM culture.
- Manages and maintains relationships with vendors; ensures accounting procedures and audits are followed; oversees invoice ordering and approvals; ensures inventories are conducted timely.
- Oversees recruiting and onboarding guidelines; ensures orientation and training schedules for all new hires; ensures performance reviews are conducted timely; participates in Safety Awareness programs.

- Position may require lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Walking/standing for extended periods
- 4-year degree and/or related experience in directing Business Operations, including Hotel, Food & Beverage, Retail, Accounting, and Human Resources Operations
- Strong customer service, internal and external
- Executive presence and confident leadership
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience with Hotel and POS Operating Systems
- Excellent eye for detail and ability to multi-task
- Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Effective communication skills (active listening, verbal and written)
