In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of CT and X‑ray procedures while adhering to patient safety protocols. Your duties include obtaining accurate patient histories, positioning patients correctly, selecting appropriate techniques, processing images using CT, X‑ray, and PACS equipment, and communicating effectively with radiologists and support staff. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring their imaging needs are met successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process, addressing concerns, and positioning them properly
  • Operate CT, X‑ray, and PACS equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images
  • Follow radiation safety protocols to ensure the well‑being of patients and staff
  • Monitor patient conditions and reactions, providing assistance during procedures
  • Maintain radiology equipment through routine cleaning, quality control, and service coordination
  • Evaluate images for quality and prepare them for interpretation by radiologists
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records following laws and regulations
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences program
  • Licensed as a Registered Radiologic Technologist in Ohio
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and CT
  • Proficient in anatomy and radiologic technology
  • Strong attention to detail and computational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Compassionate approach to patient care
