Pay: $21/hr starting
Shift: Monday-Friday with occasional weekends

Safely operates a heavy‑duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state and federal requirements, keeping the vehicle clean and safe.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report), noting all issues for corrective review/repair.
- Immediately report any unsafe situations or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch before attempting a service.
- Participate in all scheduled training, briefings and meetings as required by Operations Manager.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
- Perform all duties as scheduled by Operations Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.
- Notify Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries or property damage.
- Notify Dispatch or Operations Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers, potential missed pick‑ups or problems that arise on the route.
- Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager.
- Completely dump all containers and leave the customer’s location clean and free of debris.
- Complete and submit customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.
- Position containers on the customer’s property so that lids are properly replaced, containers are upright and do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
- Follow route assignments throughout the day and complete all documentation when checking‑in at the end of the route.
This position has no supervisory duties.
Qualifications- Education and Experience: None required; no prior work experience required.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• Commercial Drivers License B (CDL).
• Applicant must be 18 years of age or older. - Successfully complete pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, including previous employment check and motor vehicle record review.
- Acceptable driving record required.
