Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) mission is grounded in empowering individuals and building stronger communities. We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Education and Outreach Specialist to join our multidisciplinary One Community team in the Southern Region of the Trillium service area.
Your Role in Our MissionThe Education and Outreach Specialist serves as a bridge between community members and providers through outreach and education across the southern Trillium counties on the East coast of North Carolina. The specialist provides support to the team by attending community events that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is essential to accommodate community events outside of standard business hours. This is a community-based position and candidates must reside in New Hanover County
. You must be willing to travel within all regional counties (Craven, Jones, Carteret, Sampson, Duplin, Onslow, Pender, New Hanover, Brunswick, Columbus, Bladen, Robeson, Hoke, and Scotland).
Experience with the unhomed population and/or community-based experience.
