Service Technician

SERVICE TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME) at Canteen North America

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Service Technician position.

• Location:
  
  3008 Orville Wright Way, Wilmington, North Carolina 28405.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (full time).
• Requirement:
  Prior vending experience is preferred; willing to train.
• Perks:
  Up to $500 quarterly bonus eligible.
• Pay Range: $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

Repairs, maintains, and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.

• Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company‑owned vehicle.
• Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Visually inspect and listen to machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to gain access to problem area.
• Inspect parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; remove and replace worn or defective parts; repair broken parts; realign and adjust components; test machine operation following repair.
• Review inventory and order parts; ship and receive machines; maintain equipment inventory.
• Prepare machines for installation at accounts; assist in installations and removals.
• Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools, such as drills, grinders and welding torches, for machine repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
