AV Installation Technician (High-End Resi AV, Lighting, Shading, Control)

We are seeking a trustworthy individual who is hungry to learn and grow, hands-on, and loves being in the field. The ideal candidate is technically inclined and always curious about how things work.

Location: Wilmington, NC (PCSS)
Compensation: $25.00 - $40.00 / hour

Job Description:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.

Your

Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk)
• Mon-Fri from 7:30am to 4:00pm

Your Contribution to Port City Sound:

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires
• Build and lace equipment racks
• Setup and configuration of devices
• Understanding of networks
• Troubleshooting of devices
• Programming of Control & Lighting Systems (Control4, Crestron, Savant, Lutron, etc)

Requirements & Abilities:

• Ability to lift 50lbs or more
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must pass NC Alarm Board background check

Port City Sound's Contribution to You:

• $25-$40/hr
• 60% paid health insurance for employee (access to other types of insurance and HSA)
