This is a general labor position for the erosion control division. The Crew Member‑Driver installs erosion control products such as silt fence, inlet protections, slope matting, and other components at residential and commercial sites, and drives a company work truck to and from these sites. The role follows direction from the Crew Leader to complete work efficiently and with high safety and quality standards.
Duties& Functions
- Go over the daily work schedule with the Crew Leader each morning.
- Assist with loading trucks with proper installation materials each morning.
- Drive company work truck to and from worksites, obeying traffic laws.
- Represent Greenrise Technologies professionally to customers and homeowners.
- Complete all erosion control work to a high standard of excellence and Greenrise quality.
- Follow all safety protocols for vehicles, equipment, or site conduct.
- Install all erosion control products according to crew leader’s direction.
- Communicate effectively with operations managers and fellow crew members.
- Achieve daily and weekly goals for your crew’s silt fence installation output.
- Ensure vehicles, tools, and equipment are inspected and maintained properly.
- Relay important information, incident reports or concerns through the proper chain of command.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements for past driving record (Required).
- Ability to listen well and follow directions.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills working as part of a team.
- Commitment to customer service and ability to represent oneself professionally.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Physically fit and able to work long days outdoors.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic ability to read and write legibly.
- High character, honesty, and integrity essential.
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal direct supervision at times.
- Ability to consistently use good judgement and make sound decisions.
- Ability to take initiative and proactively seek continued performance improvement.
- Experience working with tools and equipment specific to erosion control installations (preferred).
- Experience pulling a trailer (preferred).
- Must have a reliable cell phone.
