Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team! We offer a wage of $14.00 to $17.00 per hour with a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $4.89 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

- VACATION:

Position Summary
We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. This role greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.
The associate thrives on engaging with customers and assists with inquiries and problem resolution. The job involves working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.
Responsibilities

- Greets and interacts with customers to build rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Performs non-management open/close procedures.
- Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
- Performs sales and loan transactions per policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using effective communication tools.
- Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
- Completes assigned training successfully.
- Other related duties, as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting.
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
- Employees may assist customers on exterior areas or retrieve products stored in exterior storage buildings.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
- Cash handling experience is preferred.
- Should be able to work in multiple locations as needed.
- Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan Information
The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission, based on gross profit of personal performance. Further details provided during the interview process.
