Executive Chef

Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Executive Chef 1 for our healthcare segment in Scotts Hill, NC
. This is an 80-bed acute care facility with room service, patient dining and EAT's cafeteria platform, Cater Trax and physicians dining. This Executive Chef role will support a team of 45 employees and will be a trusted advisor that’s central to the client partnership.

• have oversight of day-to-day operations of all food operations
• deliver high quality food service
• effectively lead the team through hospital front line staff
• ensure delivery of high quality food services including cafeteria retail, patient meals, and any catering needs that may arise
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals to ensure HACCP, regulatory and Sodexo standards compliance

• develop and maintain client and customer relationships

• Have healthcare leadership experience in an acute care setting.
• Has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.
• Can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
